Neda Iran Video - rallying cry for Iranian protests

Her name was Neda, which means “voice” in Farsi. According to numerous online accounts picked up by media outlets worldwide, she was shot in the streets by Iranian state police while protesting.

A 40 second video clip of an Iranian girl, named “Neda,” the Farsi word for voice, allegedly shot dead by a Basij soldier has been circulating the web as of Saturday. Her shooting comes as Iran faces demonstrations.
The video has since seen a wide global circulation and developed into a rallying cry for the hundreds of thousands of demonstrators in Iran who have disputed President Ahmadinejad’s June 12 victory over rival Mir Hossein Mousavi. Watch it here: Carful this is not for childrens under age 18th
