Google Public Data

Google yesterday unveils new tool to digg public data disegned to help Web users find public data.

The tool, called Google Public Data, is the latest in the company's efforts to make information from federal, state and local governments accessible to citizens.
If you go to Google.com and type in [unemployment rate] or [population] followed by a U.S. state or county, you will see the most recent estimates. Read more on the Google Blog
